I’ve been reading a book called Expert Secrets by Russell Brunson, and you need to know Secret #4.

When I was young, all I wanted was to grow up and reach “success,” as people defined it. I thought that meant working hard, climbing the corporate ladder, and becoming a CEO or a president.

I hoped to prove everyone wrong who told me that I would never amount to anything. At the time, I was struggling with high school (I graduated six years late). That meant if I kept going in the direction I was heading, I would prove the naysayers right!

It made me feel stuck. I thought that I needed to have money and connections to get ahead, and it seemed like life sealed my fate from birth.

However, that couldn’t be more wrong because something happened that changed my whole perspective…

I started studying personal development, leadership, and business. I learned it inside out to figure out how people in my position broke free from poverty, negativity, and the frustration I was wrestling with at the time.

But I had a problem…

I believed that I needed money to make money. It seemed like a great paradox of humanity. But it was a lie said to me when I was young!

I overcame my situation by realizing that I didn’t need to do everything alone. The key to breaking free and having everything I wanted was to become a leader who relies on the strengths of the people he leads.

That realization allowed me to study and practice leadership, which meant I eventually learned about leadership movements; Expert Secrets taught me that every leadership movement in history started with a new opportunity.

Think of icons such as Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and so many more. They didn’t make the fatal mistake of improving existing offers. They created a new opportunity, which created a leadership movement around them.

For example, Steve Jobs didn’t create an improved CD or MP3 player. He made a device that fits your entire music library in your pocket. Elon Musk didn’t create a car with better gas mileage; he created a vehicle that runs on electricity. Henry Ford didn’t want faster horses; he wanted a horseless vehicle. Thomas Edison invented the electric lightbulb; he didn’t try to design an improved kerosene lamp.

In the end, I learned how to create leadership movements on command and created a code to teach other people to do the same.

When all is said and done, I succeeded in breaking free from poverty, negativity, and my harmful environment. I became a person who is an unbreakable force for positivity, productivity, and fulfillment.

This freedom means that my wife and children have a present and determined role model that leads our family by example. I’ve become a man that works less and cherishes time with the people I love above all else.

Your next step is to get my FREE 5-step program,Lead Your Life.Use this simple program to learn how to become a leader who creates movements in your life; become a world-class leader like Jobs, Musk, and Ford.

Lead Your Life will increase your time freedom, show you how to start growing your business (without needing to be there), and become a high-status leader that gets results.

I’ll see you on the other side,

Wes
